2002 San Dimas Reissue

Hi, all,

There's a Ferrari red San Dimas advertised locally which is billed as a 2002 reissue - brass vintage trem, Duncan humbucker in the bridge and what looks like a Hot Rails in the neck.

Does anybody know anything about these? I've trawled the forum and only managed to find one mention of them, and they don't appear in the '02 catalog at audiozone.dk.

Would really appreciate any information you might have.

The reissues came out in 2005. probably legit as a 2005.

The first reissues showed up in summer 2004. Here's a copy from the February 2004 pricelist:

If you know the serial number it is possible to estimate the year.

Does it have a pointy headstock or one of the traditional/psuedo stratheads? Back in 2002 is when the Charvel line was reintroduced and they had psuedo stratheads. As Rich said, the SD reissues didn't come out until 2005 and those had pointy headstocks. The seller might just have his dates mixed up.

Very helpful, chaps - thanks for taking the time to reply. I've shot the seller an email asking for a little more information (including headstock shape), but a mix-up of dates seems likely.
