It's in A pawn shop. mahogany body( transparent deep wine color)...birdseye maple neck, strathead...black logo, three on a side.(the logo ) one humbucker, black. kahler tremolo, lock on the head, one string tree..has roller saddles, each adjustable for height. neck plate is gold...blank, no seriel number.. ? help. neck is so dirty, cannot see what the dots are made of.. I think I will install new finger board.. will clean first...21 frets...? that is the weirdest thing...hours of searching...no one knows, cannot find one like it..180 bucks, I will have pics in a couple of days....I'am buyin' it, whatever it is !!!what is it ??

Don't you DARE replace the fingerboard or do ANY other mods on that guitar until the experts have seen many high quality, detailed, clear, well lit pictures of it.
Any mods you make will likely DESTROY the value.
Do not even clean the fingerboard unless you really know what you are doing, then don't do it yet anyway.
Buy it, yes. Now. Then show us first, coolness?

yes...sorry, multi posting, been lookin' for hours, cannot find one like this ! have all the blue books...not in there. must clean it the dots are almost invisible ! the frets are coated with....who knows but they dont llok like frets anymore? will post pics tommorow hopefully( gotta get it first) I think 180 bucks, will be OK... birdseye neck should be worth twice that....hypothetical...if I refretted it...how would anyone know ? at least A little fret/fingerboard leveling, and fret dressing [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] thanks guys...where is the best place for the pics and info ?

Birdseye neck!
Prepro neck with logo,it alone will cost at least 3times!

well...pics will tell you 'all ....somthing ! I know about my jackson dinky reverse...stone finish...hung on A music store wall for five years..till I bought it. called jackson...someone answered the phone ! really ! they told me what it was ! There was not a set of books with serial numbers.
Pre Serialized would be correct, but the term Pre Pro got used for Pre Production which is not true , as they were in production just no serial numbers.

By all means buy it but like hoss said take pics first let every one here give you the most honest evaluation of what you have.By all means do no mods, at this point carfully clean but PLEASE do not start tearing it apart or parting it out.The guitar is worth too much to damage it in any way.
