  • Ed Roman's Jackson knowledge?

I was looking through the available Jacksons at Ed Roman's website the other day, and I figured I'd e-mail the a-hole, well a guy who works there that is, to see what he actually sells them for.
I was specific in the e-mail an asked the price on a gun metal grey KV2.
In the reply there was not a word mentioned on the guitar I had asked about. Clearly because he doesn't have the Jacksons pictured in the available section, in addition to being a major dickhead.
Also in the reply I got, it was statet that Jackson no longer make the KV2. I know this has to be total bull****? The new KV2T model had according to "Roman's house of bull****" taken over for the KV2.

That seems about par. Most of the stories I've heard were that he has horrible customer service and people skills.

Ed Roman and knowledge should not be mentioned in the same sentence.

Believe it or not there is actually one guy there who is nice & customer friendly & knows a little about Jacksons, I have to look for his name, I wrote it down when I talked to him, if I find it I'll drop a pm with it.

it would be in your best interest NOT to do business with them. im not going to sit here & tell you all the stories but run, run far away from that place. even if he is cheaper (DOUBTFUL) pay the extra $ it will be worth it. look around no one has anything good to say & if they do its probably an employee or ed himself.

Don't worry, I would never buy anything from that guy.

I bought my Jackson from him. The salesman was Scott Krell who was very helpful. The only problem i had was when it came to dealing with his useless accountant and payment issues, it was so much hassle and delayed everything by around 2-3 months.

Also the picture of my guitar is still being used on his site and saying its for sale. Which is a bit naughty as well. Never mind. I wont buy from him again just to save on the hassle.

Dunno really, sent a load of companies emails and they replied first with everything i asked for. So i thought they were the guys to go with...

However i never dealt with him personally or i dont think he was even mentioned when i was talking to one of his salesmen. The closest i got was to his completely useless accountant/wife when trying to sort out where my money had dissapeared to. She couldnt even spell my name properly.

                    Whoops.
