Std procedure is how it works, say you paid 5k well the dealer says its a used guitar so knock half off the original price.
$2500 is the ballpark you are in now and he is the only one that knows his market and if he is lucky he might sell it for 2k so whats wrong if he offers you $1700?
He has to make some money does he not?
He could care less if it is a CS guitar or not it means nothing to him. He may be a Fender/Gibson guy and thinks Jacksons are shitty guitars.
