New Jackson guitars (6, 7-, 8-string) at NAMM 2013

I like everything except the reverse smurfhat. I would hit the DKA7 in an instant if it had the regular smurfhat, or maybe with a standard reverse hs.

I thought only the Broderick's here have the reversed Smurfhat headstock (The pointy edge is looking upwards), unless the Broderick's have a different name/type of a headstock!

Still, I miss the traditional Jackson headstock (Which is the Jackson's identity), what's up with that!!?? I understand that the 8 strings could have instability issues with the standard headstock, but for the 7 strings there isn't a really good excuse other than it's an 80's look!

I like the broderick soloist 7and the DKA7. But, whats up with the red knob/self destruction button on the DKA7? I wish it had a Floyd Rose too...

Yeah I just got that too. I love that V, but yet again they drop the ball with black binding. What the fuck is wrong with these people? Theyre always sooooooooooo close but miss the mark every time with some stupid fuck head detail EVERY SINGLE TIME. Who ever makes these decisions at Jackson really needs to be fired.

Oh but the JS series gets white binding! Jesus christ.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure which is reversed and which is standard. Anyhow, having looked at the latest link to the jackson site for the NAMM models, I don't think there's anything there I would buy. Couldn't they have done a regular king v for the Trivium guy instead of that abortion?
