  • You've Showed Me yours....I'll Show You Mine

Well, there's been a lot of sweet collections on here recently so I thought I'd get off my lazy ass and snap a few pix of the current group. OK, left to right:

    1. 2011 Epi Les Paul with Duncans (Distortion / Jazz) and vintage wiring
    2. 1965 Hagstrom 2 (bought new by me in August 1965)
    3. 1983 Hamer Blitz "fantasy rebuild" with single hum / Kahler
    4. 2012 Mockingbird SE with 2 Duncan Distortions & brass block
    5. 1988 Charvel Model 6 in Electric Blue
    6. 1987 Jackson Strat #1797
    7. 1988 Jackson Dinky #6924 with "black / white 2D" graphics & JE1000
    8. KNE / Warmoth Star built by yours truly
    9. On floor - 1985 Washburn HM20V

    Hope you enjoy!

      Cool collection.

I've always had a thing for those Washburns, and I love the Jackson with the simple black & white 2D grid.

Awhile back is saw the Laferman "knobless Kelly"....that was the inspiration here. Also has alder KNE body, birdseye maple Warmoth neck, ebony board, PAF Pro zebra, vintage trem with brass block, noiseless springs, and brass spring claw.

Axe, a J50B neck, J100 middle, J90C bridge....plus the 3 mini switches significantly change tone BUT don't appear to be wired as traditional coil splits ( wouldn't be one on the 100 anyway). Once I put it down I'll chase the wiring
              .

Never was a Star fan until I saw the Charvels. This one is sweet! My favorite is the Chris Holmes Harley Star.

Thanks AIC, always wanted a star, but never could afford the "right one" - you know....a San Dimas with graphics etc. So I built this one for a grand total of $458. Used it in GC's Battle of the Blues last year ......that was a trip!
