To 1 Hum or Not 1 Hum - that is the question.

I've got a bunch of everything but when it comes to just rocking out a single hum hot rod strat is just perfect for so many things. I do like H/S or HSS but I really don't use singles much. For some reason when I do want single tone I prefer a more classic strat type guitar.

Heh, I received the guitar yesterday and now I'm having seconds thoughts about adding another pickup or more knobs. It's seems so nice and simple just the way it is. I know that will probably wear off but I don't have to do anything to it today, tomorrow or even next week.

For a while I was a single-hum guy. These days though, I use the neck pup too much.


Rear-loaded RR's with single hum's are always sexy though!

While I can appreciate its simplicity it will at least be getting a refin of some sort. For the most part I don't like having plain Jane guitars.

Can understand why others might....but I'd never mod a 1-hum guitar....LOVE 'em....& there are plenty of multi-pickup guitars out there already!!
