• Kahler website still alive

The kahler website is still alive but just somewhere else:

http://www.geocities.com/kahlerinternational/

Click on "Tremolos" on the left frame and you will see a nice chrome Kahler 2300 Pro Flat Mount. Now here comes the strange part.
When I sent an e-mail to
[email protected]
it was sent back to me by my mail provider with an "address not found" message.
But then when I checked the website a couple of days later I saw that two links had been added to the links section. So it seems someone is actually monitoring the website.
Then again it might be some private individual who simply made a copy of the Kahler site before it went under.

Seems reasonable the later is the case if your email was sent back.

Well, I doubt Kahler International would have Geocities host their web site...

Maybe they're in such financial straights that they are on a free Geocities site!

The bottom line is, if Kahler truly stops making the Trems, please someone with money buy the rights to make the Kahler Pro Flatmount Trem, I love these things and would really hate to see them go by-bys What are the chances someone would pick up the ball and run with it, if Kahler fumbles it? I doubt that's really Kahler's site; just a copy someone made, as suggested above.
Looks like they're gone (again) for awhile. Hopefully the golf club business will pay the bills until someone wants to order a run of trems again. They came back before, and if demand grows, they will again. If not, those who like 'em will get by with used parts from Ebay and
elsewhere. Clean and oil them, and tighten the parts when you change strings so nothing falls off, and you will probably never need new parts anyway, other than the string clamp assembly.
