Hello all, I just joined as a Platinum Member. I was poking around to get the lay of the land and tried to use the Custom Shop Generator. I got a prompt for my username and password, entered them, and received an error message telling me I needed to enter my username and password!? Any help with this is appreciated.
Also, as far as guitars go, I am a recent convert to Jacksons and Jackson/Charvels. I own a 1994 Jackson DX10 with new electronics and built my own Jackson from a Stars body (HH), a 12" radius, 24-fret, short scale, Grover Jackson neck (Japanese model, white head stock, LOVE the 24.75" scale!!!), Seymour Duncans and an OFR. Had a push-pull pot installed in the volume knob. Also, the neck has the computer parts(?) or graphite nut, so I had Gotoh mini-locking tuners put it.
If anyone is interested, or knows of anyone interested, I'm trying to sell/trade my black G&L Rampage, my PRS SE Dave Navarro, and actually, I'd sell/trade the DX10 for any of the short scale neck Charvel or J/C Fusion Deluxe, Special, or Plus models, preferably maple necks.
I'm also interested in the Jackson JTX (not the Standard but the HH). I've heard they're very nice. Does anyone have experience with them? Aaaaand, has anyone seen them for sale? I know they have 25.5" scale necks, but if they're worth it, if anyone knows about one, and it don't cost a mint, I'd be interested in hearing more about it.
I've been talking with a guy in Dallas (he's relocated from North Carolina) who sells almost exclusively Jackson and J/C guitars and parts - his name is Mitch and has an Ebay store as well as website, "Axe Dealers." Seems like a good dude. Anyone know him???
