model 6 wiring question

My volume pot for my bridge pickup froze, when I went to turn it, it pulled on the wires, causing the blue wire on the pot to pull off from god knows where. Can anyone tell me where the blue wire from the volume pot goes to?? And, where is the best source to obtain another volume pot?

Hi Dave welcome to the forum!,
Actually, model 6's came with the preamp, is that installed? The vloume pot actually is soldered right to the Preamp circuit board. Your blue wire should be connected to #5 on the circuit board and the mid-boost control. Pics of your control area would be very helpful if you can take some. The volume and mid-boost controls are both a value of 50k and the tone control is a value of 250k.

thanks dave, I will investigate that, but if my memory serves me correctly, there was a circut board, but it was located on the opposite side of the workspace, the volume pot was free and clear, but I will recheck this and take some photos.
