"JacksonTM Made in USA" Hard Case

I just picked up a Jackson hard case that housed a 1989 Charvel. On the exterior, it has the metal plate with the Jackson TM logo and Made in USA underneath the "N". The middle latch has "USA Excelsior Stamford Conn" on it and the two locking clasps have "Cheney England World Patents Pending" on the underside. The interior is black with a real leather pad for the pull on the side compartment top.

Based solely on my experience with Charvels, the latest I've seen the Jackson TM logo was late '87 before it switched to the R. I'm curious what case it is exactly, year(s) the case is from, what guitars it is the ohsc for (USAs? imports?), and any other helpful info the Jackson guys on this board can pass along. I appreciate it.

Those were not factory issued on imports, only USA models. The later San Dimas era and early Ontario era definitely used them (about 1985 through about 1990).

I had a 1995 CS Warrior that came with a badged Jackson case.
