Cool - I love that guitar.

I built one from scratch about 10 years ago. Here's what I ended up doing; maple neck, alder body, original floyd, Duncan custom & schaler m6.

I'm still up in the air about painting the headstock and which pickup color to go with. I'm also torn between an ash or alder body. I like them both but I have an alder 1H body so I can save a few bucks that way. As I recall, EVH's had a hard ash body which I don't want due to weight. Swamp ash would work but would cost more.

As it stands I have three Charvel projects in the hopper right now so the next few months are going to be busy for me in terms of making decisions and buying the rest of the parts I need to finish them. I love first world problems.
