Help with this site

Where is the setting so that I do not get logged out after a few minutes of inactivity?
When I try to post something:

I type.
I click reply.
I get told to log in again.
I log in.
I click reply.


You can imagine if I try to respond to multiple posts in a single day.

This might be a little obvious, but just in case: There's a little check box next to where you log-in that says 'keep me logged in' or something like that.

I guess i didn't think about that one...
Mainly because I clear my cookies automatically when I close my browser. Keeping me logged in usually only pertains to future visits. It is a waste for me.
But I will try it to see if it helps.
