Mine is also pretty dark, but that pic seems to have been taken in brighter light. The Model 6 I used to have was exactly the same color and does look almost black in normal light. And, yes, it has a slight metallic coat in it. I think the color is still exactly the same today.

Yep. It doesn't get played that much. The purple Dinky Reverse with EMGs may go soon, too.

If your selling it cheaper than that, and if it looks nice, I may be interested.

Thanks Jimmy, but I can`t find the Archives section on their site? Would you please let me know where it is? Thank you-Jack.

you need to "store" then "guitars" then Jackson and then you will find it on page 5. It's a really cool color.

Found it Jimmy thank you Anyway, I wish it didn`t have the metal flake in it, but I will think about it, normally I don`t go for sparkly colors, I actually prefer Gloss Black the best I might even go with the Yellow Bengal, or even Natural Mahogany, there is something to be said for a beautifull natural see-thru mahogany guitar Naturally the prices will be different, but we are talking about a dream, hopefully one of a kind short scale soloist, hmmmmmm.... Wonder if they can get me a Kahler Pro in Black for it Jack.

Hi Matt and thanks for the heads up man, but I just played a DK1 the other day in Electric Blue and 1, I am not really a bolt-on dude, and 2 the neck is way to thin for me.A couplke of years ago I actually owned a 1991 Jackson USA fusion in Coral sea and it was so awsome, except, the neck was way to thin and traded her away, man I loved that finish, but the neck thing Man I would love to see pics of that DK1 in B/C when it comes in Jack.
