So you think it's worth the 220?

I personally would put 220 towards a dxmg cause they can be found around that price. The dx10d is a decent guitar, but the jt500 is not the best tremolo. If a case was included then yeah id prob get it, but otherwise like i said, id search for a dxmg. Its got sharkfin inlays, binding, and a better tremolo.

Decent guitars are hard to find used in my area. So this is a lower end jackson then? Is that basically what you're saying? I've heard of jacksons, but this one is the first I've actually seen in person.

Really my opinion means crap. If you like it go for it. You could sell it and get most if not a few bucks more than your money back if you decide later you dont like it. With the case its worth it for sure

Ask them if they'll give you a case or gigbag with that DX10D. No harm in asking.

It's a 14 year old guitar, so give it a good test run and check the frets for excessive wear just to be safe.
                    96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Made in India, 2000. Dark metallic red, alder body, Armstrong pickups (according to the 2000 Jackson catalogue, but catalogues contain errors so I personally can't confirm the specs) and MSRP was around $500USD, but street price would be considerably lower.

Personally, I wouldn't pay 200 for it. You can find DK2's used on craigslist for 250 if you look around. Where are you located?
