Growing up in the late 80's this Jackson really did it for me.....

And then fast forward to the early 90's and this beauty was stuck in my mind.....

As a fellow Brit, I know exactly where you're coming from - for years I just knew them as "Jackson Sharkfins". And it was the blue one played by Tommy Asakawa of Warrior that did it for me!

Depends on your definition of "heavy metal" but....for me....

            #1 = Jackson Rhoads

            #2 = BCR Bich

            =

Always liked it over the original pink Jackson. Not as gaudy and a bit "classier" looking.

Nearly wore the VHS tape out watching Aces High back in 84-86!

                      And of course......

Always thought Eddie Ojeda's strathead bullseye charvel was classic and memorable. I think I read that was the first ever Charvel bullseye?

For an over the top 80s one, remember Steve Vai's triple neck heart shaped guitar?

Before falling in love with the Jackson's Warriors, I always wanted this Carvin X220C:

However, before then I was dreaming in all sort of Soloists, Dinkies and some other Kramer guitars, but my top one which I had a mini poster of from a magazine is this one:
-Metal wouldn't be the same without Pointy guitars-
