  • Charvel So-Cal / San Dimas USA vs Japan

So I'm looking at buying a used So- Cal or San Dumas. Although conventional wisdom would state that USA is usually the best bet I'm terms of quality and craftmanship I have read a lot of opinions that the MIJ guitars are actually better.

    What do you guys think?

I prefer the rolled edges on the fretboards of the MIJ.

Charvel So Cals are better when MIJ, better attention to detail and nicer necks and fretwork.

I believe those Japanese Pro Mods will increase their price on the second hand market, as people will realise that they are superior to the current Mexican Charvels and even to the previous USA strathead Charvels from 2008-2010

Also if anyone has played a EVH Wolfgang special import I'd like to know how those compare to the Charvels I'm inquiring about.
