It's just perplexing to me why not too many people know about these or like them. I took a leap of faith. It's not like you're going to find one to test out. So, I ordered online. People say I got raped on mine I guess, for $1600. But what they don't realize is that I got a MIJ Jackson, and you can tell (if your not a noob idiot) that the quality of construction on this is stellar. I'm hoping the MIM one is as decent. But I'm assuming, since Jackson is owned by Fender that it will be made in the same plant as the Fenders. I had a Jim Root Tele a while back, MIM and that thing was top notch, other than sharp fret ends, which is the fault of where I live for the most part. I like these damn dominions so much, I'm even thinking about the DX2 model while I wait for the pro, I like the damn thing so much.
Here, let the F'N Gas settle in. I mean WTF? Look at this thing. It's like Tele sort of shape, a LP feel and controls. Black with white binding. G'damn Sonn.......

Mine's currently in mod limbo waiting for me to get off my ass and finish it - it's got a pair of Duncan P-Rails mounted on TripleShots, an LR Baggs T-bridge that I need to get a new preamp for (since I toasted the original), and I'm working on a way to mount Fishman Equus disc transducers to the inside in at least 2 places. Once it gets done, it'll be an even-more-killer axe, for sure.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Probably put in a stereo jack, routing the piezos to one side and the P-Rails to the other. Blending the two would be difficult, and push-pull switching between them would probably produce a noticeable "whump" in the signal. I'm thinking run into an acoustic or otherwise dedicated-clean amp, and use an A/B/Y switch.
And I mis-spoke earlier - not Fishman Equus but Barcus-Berry Discs. The big ones about the size of a nickel, not those dime-sized.
Another obstacle has been finding dual-concentric pots that will pass through a solid top. Only ones I've found are short-shaft for pickguards. The LR Baggs comes with its own concentric volume and tone, and I figure the Discs will need their own for better blending, which leaves only 2 pot holes for the P-Rails. I'd rather have full Volume/Tone control on both rather than masters.
The mini-toggles will probably go #1 to select between the piezo stuff (one/both/the other) and #2 to reverse one of the P-Rails. Maybe a 2-way Off/On. Haven't really sorted that out yet.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

There's one other little "trick" to it all - I've discovered that applying the slightest pressure to the center of a piezo disc increases its response. However, creating a mounting bracket that would hold the transducer against the body with just the right amount of force yet without deadening the resonance of the wood or shattering the disc is no easy task.
Part II of that is getting it inside the body, and it not falling out of place.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

I was leaning pretty heavily toward getting one of the new Pros in white, but decided to customize my old Primer model instead. Paint, hardware, truss cover, and a Dimarzio Dominion in the bridge... not nearly as ambitious as NewcWithout being able to speak to the quality of Jackson's Mexican made (?) guitars, I'm glad I kept the Japanese one.
