  • Holdsworth # 3350

    Hi Guys,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Mike Tempesta and I'm the artist relations manager for Charvel, Jackson, and EVH. I very rarely post but I do lurk on the forums from time to time and love all the information you can find here. Thanks for being obsessed with Charvel & Jackson!

I'm hoping someone here can help me find a guitar that my childhood friend purchased from Sam Ash Music on 48th St. in NYC in 1984...a Charvel Allan Holdsworth sig model serial # 3350. This guitar holds a lot of sentimental value to him and he would love to have it back in his possession. He regrets to this day ever selling that guitar.

If anyone here has any information on Holdsworth #3350 please let me know!

    Thank You,
    Mike

Welcome, Mike. Glad to see someone from J/C here on the forum.

Unfortunately, I don't have any info on your friend's old guitar. I'm sure if someone here knows of its current whereabouts, though, they'll let you know.

          Thanks for the warm welcome!

I hope that guitar comes up. It really was a very cool Charvel...I remember it having a very beefy neck and the back was lacquered...not your typical oiled Charvel neck.

Welcome to the forum. Hope you find it. I've seen pics of Holdsworth 3348 over on usacharvels.net

I'm sure you could have the shop make you a new one just like it! Ha ha

The shop could make one just like it but that particular guitar holds sentimental value to him. Also, the DiMarzio tremolo that was used on that guitar is almost impossible to find these days.

I checked all the usual places... Even jacksoncharvelworld.net has no known owner listed.

Just a pic and last known location.

                        Thanks Rick!

That's the guitar...I wonder what guitar store in NY had it?

The last update to the gallery was 2004, so that pic is the better part of 11 years old, if not older.

Anyone know how to get a hold of Hossman from jacksoncharvelworld.net? I tried the email links on the website but they're not working.
