That is when I thought Jackson was most awesome, when KE had all those weird "prototypes" and cool one-off artist models.
    GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

Is your Dad aka "Rocco"? lol.

My Jackson Korina Explorer is an employee project. My favorite Jackson hands down that I have ever played.

But, seriously, that Explorer is sick.
...and string thru, the way I like 'em.
          96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Me too. Thanks. Korina neck thru, brass bridge, jack and knob. Reverse HS and inlays... Gold Jackson logo.. Gibson neck scale. Ebony board. Reverse fender style jack cut into the side of the body. Fat Neck. Sustains better than any guitar I have ever owned or played. I can't remember I think it has a JB and a 59 in it. You can play it unplugged and be having a conversation and hear every note loud and clear.

Wow that Korina Explorer looks and from your desription sounds beautiful. I have a Gibson Explorer - stripped back to reveal the Mahogany body and neck. Looks Lovely but im lacking that killer sustain in which you describe with your jackson. congrats on the one off beauty!

Thanks. Ive had quite a few Gibson Explorers too. I had a Dean Korina Z (explorer shape) that was a limited run and handmade in Czech that was an incredible player too. I traded it for an older USA Dean Caddy and regretted it ever since. When this one showed up for sale I snatched it up. Actually got both he Firebird in the pic and the Explorer from the same spot within weeks of each other. Both are keepers for me. I need a round horn V to complete.
