  • Kelly ke3 neck replacement.

I have a kelly ke3 that I was considering replacing the neck in due to a lack luster repair by the previous owner on the headstock. I found a guy selling a neck off of a ps4 performer for $80 and was wondering if it would fit. I'm new to jackson and don't know much about if their necks change too much.
Also he'd sell the whole ps4 for 150' is that a good deal? Any help is appreciated
    Thanks

I had a PS4 neck on a Warrior WRMG body... it fit fine. Don't see why it wouldn't work. Buy the whole PS4 and give it a go.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Not sure which ones, but some Performers had a 2 and 3/16ths inch neck pocket. The standard Jackson size (and no doubt the KE3 size) is 2 and 1/4. Just be sure to check if possible.

The guy seemed straight up so I'm gonna take the ke3 to test fit the neck tomorrow. But I know if I see the guitar I'll want it even if it doesn't fit!
If it doesn't fit I'm not sure of my options. I'm wondering if my current neck could be re-repaired

You can find real Jackson necks on ebay, just be sure there's a return policy to be safe. This one should be fine.

Mighty Mite makes a decent looking Jackson replacement that is licensed by Fender. Here a google images link.

Thanks for the help. I'd post images of the repair on my headstock but I don't know how to add an image

Use a photo sharing site, like photobucket, tinypic etc, then copy the link here.
