Those appear to be his other roadbeaters, just like he sold last time. Notice the one-of-a-kind is there only as an eyecatcher? Not for sale.
Notice a few more in the pic say Not For Sale?
Where's his Arizona Rhoads? Where are the doublenecks?

He's dumping his road gear from the last tour, that's all, because he knows people are going ape-sh!t for his Sig model Jacksons now that he's left.

I only see 2 not for sale; the silver KV1
at the top, and the amber Y2KV. Other than that discrepancy, I agree with Newc.
He'll make a fortune on those Y2Kvs alone
and yeah, he's clearing space for the ESP
freebies that are coming. Dave's mindset being what it is, he might even prefer his guitars to be uglier now. He's not one to let go of a grudge, and he has a grudge with Fender and now Jackson because he didn't get what he wanted, to buy or control Jackson. The 2 on the "not for sale" list just remind us that he will still keep the best for himself.

I don't know about these being roadbeaters...most of the Y2KV's are from the last batch produced. As I understand it, they only made around 300 Y2KV's total...between this and last auction he must have had @10% of them.

I do not understand why you guys do not like Mustaine. Back when I was growing up people were all metallica heads, I was all for megadeth. Fender buys Jackson, Dave hates Fender, so he swaps.

It seems like if they dont play/endorse Jackson that gives you guys more reason to dislike someone, and if they play Ibanez another reason.

I am to full understanding that I am on a Jackson board, and people are going to be partial to them.

Thoraby, I have some bad news for you, Dave is no where near financial trouble. Fender offered him a very good deal for someone in retirement (so he put it) and he turned it down, all because of his hatred for Fender.

Now, if he needed money, he would have done that.

Probably dozens, if not hundreds. It wouldn't surprise me if Jackson sent him a new guitar every few months; he could have stipulated it as a means of watching quality control. Les Paul has that deal with Gibson; he gets a Les Paul every month. Of course we know that doesn't really assure QC, but it gives the artist
an excuse for a steady stream of guitars coming his way.

Add to the freebies guitars he bought
as we all do, through the see it, play it, love it, buy it process, and
I could see him owning hundreds.

Looking at the serial numbers one of them struck me. The Y2KV I sold a few months ago is only one serial number away from one of his. [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]

I totally agree with the Gibson QC thing, they are all over the board and they can get away with that because of the LP history and that awsome TONE, but i don`t own one, because of the QC and the factg that they use Fake MOP inlays, totally un acceptable in my book, and then they are over priced too boot. The serial numbers U11950 and up I believe were from mid Feb or so (not sure how they stamp these things though)...what the heck...did he scarf up on the last ones? Looking out for #1 at the end!

No, he didn't have a problem with Fender, he was pissed at AMIC. He wanted to buy Jackson, but couldn't come up with the money in time, so AMIC sold Jackson to Fender.

So, in retaliation, he cancelled his contract with Jackson, STOPPED Y2KV production (even for those who already paid for them), shat on his fans, and from what I understand, is in the process of trying to buy ESP.

Well, he'd be pissed at AMIC of course, but he DOES have a hatred of FMIC too.
As for him buying ESP, I seriously doubt he could pull that off if he couldn't afford to buy Jackson. Whatever you think of ESP guitars, ESP the company is worth more than Jackson the company.
