Hey Everybody. What does Jackson call the new 3 per side pointed headstock, or is there a name for it? thanks

It's not new... been around since the '90s. I guess you could refer to it as the SLS (Super Light Soloist) headstock.

People call it the Smurf headstock but I think the factory refers to it as the 3x3.

It is not a fucking Smurf Hat! Have you ever seen a Smurf? If anything, ESPee and Caparison headstocks look like Smurf Hats.

Technically it's a choad - a stubby, fatter version of the original 6-inline.

Exactly.

That's true, as that was one of the first models to use it. I remember a Custom Shop Warrior with it in the '90s, also.
