  • audiozone ?? Is it dead ?

    Hello guys !

I just checked audiozone.dk website and I saw so much links were dead. I sent the message to admin of website but I didn't get the reply. Anyone knows the website admin. This website so useful for charvel/jackson identity and another 80's cool guitar catalog and parts informations.

Yeah, I checked it a couple of weeks ago and the catalogue links (at least) are dead. Haven't seen Henrik around here recently..
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

The catalogues over there have been kaput for many months.
      96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

It went down for a few days, and when it came back, many links were dead.
The bulk of the information is there. It is mostly picture links that are gone.

FWIW I was mostly concerned about losing access to the early serial number logs. I emailed Henrik a few weeks ago but have not received a response.

I hope my old friend Henrik is OK. I think I saw him on FB. I have his last name somewhere.

I ve recieved and answer from the official support of charvel/jackson, where they refer to the good database of audiozone. so even the official representatives of the companay are refering to audiozone. This web site has to be back alive )

                      Hello,
As Fender only acquired Charvel in 2002, we do not have access to older model specs or serial information.
Here's a good resource on import Charvel guitars from those years: http://audiozone.dk/index-filer/char...rt-guitars.php

                        Grover Jackson pointed me here.
Fender points people elsewhere because we bash them too much.

There was nothing comparable to audiozone while it was fully functioning...aside from going through endless threads on this site gathering info.

It's definitely worth the effort to keep it alive, if possible.
