    Hello!
I would like to know what model is my Jackson, where and when it was made. Serial on the plate is 01061528. When i removed neck I didn't saw any stamps - just some writings.

    Here are pics:

2001, made in India serial. Not sure about the model.
    96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

      That's a DK2.
Looks like someone did a pickup and bridge swap.
Possible it's a parts guitar, but that is a DK2 body and neck.

That's what I initially thought before I saw the serial and the lack of date/model stamps. I've seen a few DK2's with Indian serials, but I'm still not certain there were Indian made DK2's.

I'd expect a Japanese model to have model/date stamps.

The solid colour DK2s had a cutaway, this doesn't.

            Not true...
            I give you exhibit A:

The early Dk2 models were inconsistent on the lower cut.

Considering the lack of proper stamps, this would be a pretty early model then, probably first year run.

So it is Japanese? And first year run means which one?

The earliest DK2 would be late '97. They first appeared in the '98 catalogue. I don't know off the top of my head if all '97-'98 Japanese models had date stamps or not, but many of them did.

I can't say for sure what's going on with these Indian numbered models. I've seen 5-6 and I believe they all had a 2001 serial number. I can't recall if any of them had date stamps, but the last one I saw had a Made In Japan sticker on the neck.

                  :dunno:

Well i think that sticker could been tooked off by last owner. Thank you all for answers! How much do you think is it worth then? I paid for it 570$ (with hard case) in today money exchange.

                      Where are you located?
In the U.S., they typically run in the $300 range for the older version and $400 for the newer ones with real Seymour Duncan pickups.
                      Cases typically run about $100.

                          Cool.
Not sure about the availability of these are in Poland, so I can't say if you got a great deal or not.
All that really matters is do you like it.

I wanted to share a really tasteless nationality joke, but just decided to say hello and welcome to the forums.
