    Hi people, new guy here. Picked up a Jackson V second hand.

    Can anyone identify it please?

    Looks like a KV4. Neckthru, made in Japan in the mid-late 2000s, most likely, since there's sharks but no binding.

        Yeah, looks like a KV4 with an Amber Sunburst finish.
        The serial indicates made in 2000.
        96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

            Thanks guys. I was thinking I might get it set up and sell it. What would say is a good price? It has the hard case too.

              I'm slowly learning to avoid value opinions.
              If I say for example only $400 someone will say that's too low. Then, that same person will later tell someone who spent $400 on that model that $400 was on the high side. I swear, I've seen it more than once.
