  • identifying my RR guitar

hi. new to the forum. just bought a used RR guitar, like the concorde, white with gold hardware and black pin striping, set neck or neck through. Shark fin inlays and seymour duncan pickups. gibson style bridge.Headstock just says Jackson and 6 digit serial number on end of fingerboard. 0423XX. i have searched high and low and can't find a chart that shows this 6 digit serial number. Can anyone help me with this? thanks very much.

Post a picture or two of it and the fine gentlemen that know a lot more than I do can give exact details. Also list the first part of the S/N could be helpful also

Six digit serial number on the end of the fingerboard indicates Japanese origin. And if the headstock only says "Jackson" almost always it's an import. But yeah, pics would help. Sounds like a cool axe.

              Should be a Japanese made 2004 RR5.
To post pics you first need to load them on a photo sharing site such as tinypic, photobucket...and then copy the link here.

There is no serial number data base for Jackson imports that I'm aware of.
              96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

That's not the "Concorde" but the 2nd shape Rhoads had done. Just an RR5, no big whoop.
