• OK, I Want A Jackson T-shirt, What's a Big Guy To Do?

So look, I am a big dude. No, REALLY!!!

But I must say I am getting salty at companies for not thinking of us when making merchandise. Case in point: Head over the J/C web site and look at the merch pages. The ONLY thing wearable I can buy is a hat. That just sucks ass, I mean cmon...ya they offer a Tee in XXL but be realistic, MOST people these days will wear a XXL anyway. C'mon, step up and throw some larger sizes out there for those of us NOT addicted to CRACK and only weighing in at a staggering 125lbs soaking wet!!!

My band makes it a POINT to stock XXXL and larger shirts and in all seriousness, we cannot keep them in stock at gigs. People always ask for more and we gladly supply them, even at a slightly higher price...doesnt matter, they sell. Same at concerts, they charge $30 - $45 for a tee at a rock concert, the shirts are super cheap quality and IF and I STRESS IF they have a XXL it would barely fit someone who normally wears a L or XL.
Just felt the need to rant for a second about this. I mean *I* for one spend MUCH time and MUCH Money on Jackson/Charvel guitars, they are hands down the coolest and best guitars I have ever owned or played, but DAMN IT I want a Jackson Tee shirt!

Now before you start flaming away and start with the "lose some weight dude and then you won't have to worry about it" bullsh*t, remember one thing...it's NOT always about that and it's not always possible for SOME of us. I am a big guy and I have been since forever and JUST for the record I am healthy as HELL with perfect marks for EVERYTHING every time I get a checkup, ok? I DO NOT Live inside a twinkie box. Get it?? It's just a fact that I am a big dude, so MAKE SOME SHIRTS FOR ME DAMMIT!!!

Anyway, just venting and wondering if there are any other's out there who feel the same way? Thanks for listening!

Be COol,
Mike

You can email FMIC and ask them, or yopu could get one of their XXLs and see if you can stand it. I bought a XXL because
of what you were saying about the concert tees that are always too small, and it hangs on me like a tent. I'm 6' and 240 lbs so I ain't a scrawny crackhead. The King V shirts are only $15.99 in XXL and have a Big Jackson logo in front that covers the chest, and a foot-long King V
on the back between the shoulders.

I know that isn't much help, but they are decent Anvil shirts that don't shrink up.

I'll have to check when I get home from work, but I'm pretty sure my Jackson T is an XL. It's the same shirt Rich just described, with the HRF KingV on the back. Great shirt! Quality material, it hasn't shrunk at all since I've got it. And yea, I do take it off occasionally to wash it.

BTW. I'm 6'4 & 220. The shirt is a great fit.

RemCarr,

I'm six one and I'm at 340, so I know exactly what you are saying. One of the problems with the so called XXL shirts out nowadays is , yea they fit me fine after they have been stretched to hell and if there is any kind of a design on it, it gets stretched all out and disfugured. I hate that!

I hear ya. I'm 6' 240 as well and I'm right in between a XXL and a XXXL. It depends on the brand but I can have a XXL that fits like a medium or fits perfectly. At the same time, I can get a XXXL that fits perfectly or hangs like a tent. My problem is that I can't stand a tight neck (around 19 inches so that is sometimes a problem) so answer me this: how come the bigger shirts get, the more the neck hole stays the same size?

The fact you think it's okay to say that
is pretty screwed up, Mark. Nothing funny about it, and yeah, it's offensive.

Rich, now that I think about it, man I'm really sorry if I offended you or any of the other bros, but I really didn't mean to. Hell, you and I have talked outside of this forum and we have a lot in common and I really am glad to have met you. I've told you before that sometimes I joke around a lot but please don't take any of it seriously. I guess I need to really be careful what I say! I haven't met anybody here that I dislike but sometimes my joking is taken too seriously. I'll say it in front of everybody here....I'm sorry Rich.
