Some unusual specs on that guitar. Sounds like a modified import guitar. Would be helpful if you could post some pics of it and I'm sure some members here will be able to help ID the model and the mods that have been done to it.

Yes, a pic could make it easier and possibly more accurate. You need to load pics on a photo sharing site such as photobucket, tinypic etc. and then copy a link here.

The number seems to indicate 2007 made in Japan...if its an import, which I assume it is.
I'd guess it was a modified SL3 Soloist.

      96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Not sure if it's the same model, but with a Sustainiac, it would be a DK2S.

              But, the DK2S isn't a neck thru.

Looks like a modified SL3 with the extra knob in the middle and extra switches.

Yup, modified SL3. That looks like the stock FRT02000 tremolo, which is made in Korea, not Germany.

Given that I've seen a DK2S sell for $500 consistently, I'd say it was a fair price. The Sustainiac is about $225 new. Not sure how plentiful SL3s are these days, and I wouldn't trust a used Sustainiac system - never know who ripped it out of what or what kinda damage they did to it.

Looking at the pics, the small row of LEDs would indicate the intensity of the effect, while the 3 mini toggles select On/Off and the 2 modes of operation.

$500 USD for a Japanese neck thru is a very good deal if it functions properly.

Looks like someone spent a lot of money modifying it. If it's a pro job and works, and you want it, it's probably worth the extra cash.
