Charvel Custom Shop San Dimas Flat Top Guitar? A Mystery

Can anyone help me determine what brand of guitar this is? It does look like a Charvel flat top.

The electronics route makes me think it's a Hondo.

Sure, the top looks similar, but the control cavity of your guitar is not a Charvel shape.

Looks like Tokai, maybe Matsumoku or Fugijen...

I have a Robin that was similar built by Tokai ~81 - all Gotoh HW as well...route is different but very close. Tokai also had a Strat head variant they sold.
