do they exist? i have to lug around my KV2 hardshell case all over manhattan, brooklyn and staten island. i really need to find a better solution to traveling around the city with my baby. you guys will know.

Gig bags aren't meant to protect, but they serve a purpose. Hardshell cases are often too big and bulky for easy transportation. When I want to put my guitar in the car and take it to my friend's house or something, a hardshell case is overkill. Also, I just took a bus trip and the policy was that all musical instruments have to be taken on as carry-ons. They refuse to check them. I can honestly say putting a softshell case into an overhead is easier than a hardshell.

"Rockbag" produces an Explorer gigbag that will fit a Kelly. I don't know if they have one for the flying V, but I reckon they do. I'll check it out on friday, or mabye tomorrow to see if it fits my King V. I'll let you know.
