Jackson Fusion Funny Memory

I was just laughing at myself because when I was in my teens the Jackson Fusion came out.
I had thought they were made for the music, Jazz Fusion, I had no idea until many years
later what the true purpose of the Fusion was, which was meant to be a mix of a super strat
with Gibson 24 3/4 scale length. I also wonder why nobody seems to make these anymore?
They are great guitars, they smoke Les Pauls, in terms of playability, go figure.

Hah the name does conjure up the genre more than a "fusion" between the features of 2 guitars. Couldn't have helped that "fusion" the genre was a thing right around the time that Jackson was making fusions.

I think people still might be put off by them for whatever reason. Hope it stays that way- more targets for me.
