      open up the tremolo cavity and see if there is a bunch of writing in there in the form of custom order stamp.

      check out this older post, scroll down and see all the areas that can help give you info.

        I had it open the other day. I didn't notice anything and I think that would have stood out. It's pretty close to the one in the link - 7063 - since mine is 7023. The bodies seem identical sans the third pickup. Thanks for the link - everyone seemed to enjoy the 7063 axe. It was ordered from Jackson for Webbs Music in Antioch. It wouldn't have been a customer order. That's where I bought it new.

          $2200 from the store you worked at?

          Employees should be buying things at cost, or at most 10% over cost to cover incidentals. Why else would people work there.
