Couldn't they make something to cover up the truss wheel thingy?

You need to have a trem cover. Otherwise the springs rip out your pubes when you play naked.

To me, all these things that obscure the "guts" of the guitar help to complete the look.

Both of my Jackson Stratheads don't have trem cavity covers. Control cavities are necessary... but certainly not trem or truss covers.

It's certainly not necessary, but I say cover it up. Looks like crap.

I love headstocks without the ugly truss cover. Looks great, IMO.

They especially look good without a truss cover on a coloured headstock. Who had that CS seafoam on here recently? Neilli?

I first came across the truss rod wheel adjuster on my 1993 Washburn Steve Stevens signature guitars. They are a great asset and have great functionality. They were fitted only to the majority of Steve's personal guitars myself owning two of them.

I like that they are visible. I see it being left uncovered as being on purpose in order to show off that you dont have to either remove the neck or mess with the truss rod at the head end..
