  • Need help identifying my Jackson!

Hi! I could use a little help identifying my Jackson. Serial number on the last fret reads C61837. I'm throwing in some pictures below. Thank you SO much for your help!

Sam Ash misnamed "SL2H". It has nothing to do with an SL2H. Should have been called an AT professional (not Pro).

Not quite sure I follow, you're saying the actual model is what? I can't seem to figure out what year it is either. Are you saying it is an AT professional? I can't find any reference to a similar serial number as the one I listed.

It's an SL2H Sam Ash exclusive from 2006. The serial is 06xxxx not C6.

Made in Japan, but oddly given the name of a USA model which is nothing like it. The USA SL2H isn't archtop, has an ebony board not rosewood, German Floyd Rose not Korean, quarter sawn neck, not flat sawn...etc etc.
The USA SL2H was around a few years before 2006.

Just weird naming is all. Fine guitar, I expect.
        96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.
