  • Cable routing through strap?

I have had a few Jacksons over the years. Yesterday I bought an RR24.

On other guitars I would route the cable from behind, between the strap and the body, then into the jack to prevent it from getting pulled out.

On the RR24 the jack is on the upper part of the V so I can't do it that way. What do you guys do with your cord for guitars like this?

    Thanks in advance.

I haven't owned a RR in years, but I would probably get a 90 degree cable and go under then back through the strap like normal.

I used to have two RR1T models... didn't have any problem with routing the cable under the strap.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

I just looped it around the strap button like normal.
