I took a couple of pictures.

-The body with measures (in cm) but I am not sure the distances are the one you asked

29,5cm for the first picture : 11.61417323 inches

26,8cm for the second picture : 10.5511811 inches

23,6cm for the third picture : 9.291338583 inches

-From a Jackson neck which does not fit for this model and to me looks ridiculously ....small.

Measures to the nut (the closest part to fret 1) : 43,5cm = 17.12598425 inches

Someone should be able to figure out if it's a 22 or 24 fret body. Numbers are my weak point.

The neck won't fit the pocket? Any stamps on the neck heel? Japanese neck?

The neck the pocket but the holes on it are not matching to the holes on the body.
The last fret on this neck is ending way too close to the pickup routing. It's like 1cm or 1,5cm closer than on KV3 pictures i looked at.
        Neck is made in china

Made in China sticker would indicate 2012-present. Can't think which model wouldn't have binding, though.

            Something to consider:
If you click the square to the right of the globe/red X at the top of the reply section, you can post the link in the pop up box that appears and then your pics will show on the page instead of the link.

I have slow internet and links can be painfully slow sometimes.

From the picture it looks like you have about 147mm from center of mounting post to heel so that would be a 24 fret body

When you say from the picture, do you mean this one ?

Here is compete view of body + neck (made in china)

Then couple of side views of the neck placed in the pocket

In case this neck could be 'adapted' to this body, I will have to drill extra hole (minimum 2), to get it properly locked with screws.

                    Nice job on the pics.

These types of mods are over my head, but I'm guessing that neck could be made to work...though a pup ring in the neck position doesn't look like it'll fit now.

I'm ok to wait and buy a part that looks more serious than this one.

Since I have no knowledge on Jackson parts, I don't know if a DKMG, DK2M Pro Series or even DXMGT would fit on this guitar.

If you have a King V KV2 or KV3 can you give me the exact size of the neck with measures like I took ?
I have the feeling of having a 'kid' guitar neck

Pictures to compare this funny "made in china" neck to a.....Kelly Neck and a Washburn Parallaxe V Neck

                        A joke

Apologies if to all of you, Jackson forum members who know the brand better than me, if you are 100% this is not a tiny midget neck
Do you think if I plant in my garden and water it it will grow up quickly ?

That looks like one of those new 22.5 scale Jackson Minion necks. That would also explain why it has no neck binding, which I mentioned earlier.
Crafted with the demands of the discernible player in mind, Jackson guitars give you the shapes, finishes and tones you love. From the venerable Rhoads, Soloist, Warrior and more, shop Jackson for the highest performance.

That V should have the standard 2 1/4 Jackson pocket, so any of those MIJ models you mentioned should fit. In fact, aside from some Performer models, all imports should have that same standard pocket. I'd go for binding.

Measurment starts from the center of the Floyd mounting post holes which would be at the 13mm or 14mm mark from that pic and ends at the 160mm or front of heel rout. Like Mudlark says that neck looks to be a different scale not a standard 25.5" so it won't work with that body

                              Thanks for both explanations.
I will maybe use this neck as ....

Now i have to find a 25.5" neck. Do you have any place to recommend online for a purchse ? I mainly browse Ebay and Reverb. For other places I would prefer avoid 'no name cheap' neck that looks like real ones.
100$ to 250$ would be ok even if the more I save the more I'll spend elsewhere for Jackson parts.

In my current list I am looking for those items for this guitar body :

                              -pickups x2
                              -tremolo system (I guess I'll order a JT580)
                              -button
                              -switch
                              -knobs (obviously)
                              -neck plates and screws
                              -25.5" neck
-cover plate (for tremolo and buttons/switch)

ebay is probably the best place I can think of.
The plate/cover can be found at Frets on the Net I expect.
                                96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.
