Born on 09-10-03. I placed the order in February and it showed up yesterday. And I can't believe I actually
got it. Ever since I ordered it, I was expecting to get a call from Lloyd (GuitarXpress) to tell me that Jackson
changed their mind and would not do it. But I never got that call and here it is!!!
Woohoo!!! Huge thanks to Lloyd!! And Jackson!!

But, Jackson did say that this is it. No more Explorers.
So, that sucks.

Jerry - Your Explorer is probably the nicest one I've ever seen! I swear I almost sent a pic of yours along
with my order and said "Make it look like this one." It would have been sweet. But I've got enough flame
on my other guitars and I love the black/gold combo. So I decided against it.
But I seriously thought about it....

Thanks Archtop. I completely agree you with on flame finishes. Mine completely satisfied my itch for figured tops. I traded my blackburst ke-2 for a black and bound ke1t w/ no regrets (tho' i do miss the neck pickup [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] ). I just can't argue with a black, white or a cool b/w graphic guitar. Are those two 81's I'm seeing? The knobs are wired for volume, tone or volume, volume. Enjoy!
