Thanks everyone for the comments. I have a few additional pic's below. Based on the electronics for the volume and pickup selectors, it is safe to say this is not a Charvel guitar.

Clearly a mutt... Chandler neck? I dunno, there doesn't look to be much legit on the guitar except the tuners.

But that's a decent crackle. All that matters is, does it play well? That will determine the value, IMO.

It plays Ok. Pickups are pretty thin playing through my Marshall Mini Stack. I think the only positive thing about the guitar is the paint job.

In that new picture,,, the head stock looks like a Carvin. But I seriously doubt anyone would ever fake a Charvel using a Carvin.

The '80s Carvin headstock that looked similar to Jackson/Charvel was a little thinner and weird looking, maybe a tiny bit longer (not to mention that Carvin didn't have any 22-fret bolt-ons in the '80s.)

I believe this to be a Charvel Model series neck with headstock repair.

That body looks very similar to a JB Player I used to have. I'm not sure what is going on with that neck.

Last question. Are there any Charvel/Jackson guitars that would have the blank neck plate?

Nope. I've never seen anything legit have a blank neck plate. I mean, I guess there's some weird chance that someone lost a neck plate and replaced it with a blank one, but outside of that, which I would find suspicious anyway, nope.

Also, is that crackle black and white? I don't believe Charvel ever did a black and white crackle. Black and silver yes, but not black and white. I have a black and silver (platinum deluxe), and it looks way different.

There's a pawn shop in Myrtle Beach that has a white/black crackle BC Rich Assassin with a vintage tremolo on it. It's been sitting there for at least six years (I stop in every year when on vacation, and say to myself every time "if that thing had a Floyd on it..."). There's no doubt in my mind that is a BC Rich body, and it looks that's a Charvel Model series neck that has been repaired. A total mutt.
