i'm tired of gold, chrome, and black. i want different coloured hardware! and not that gay car wheel aluminum looking stuff either. or the varnished chrome. i'm talking about colourful hardware. like colourd crome (i.e. ibenhad's coloured mirrored pick guards). like hot pink, hot dark blue, purple, red, etc. just think how that would look as a trem, knobs, pickup rings, nut, and tuners. you would think that by now, being the year 2003 we could have come up with a way to make them already. why hasn't jackson (or FIMC) taken this technology leap at least as a custom shop option. the technology has to be out there. walk into a head shop and see all the colourful metal pipes and body jewelery. there has to be a way to make hardware like that. just imagine a black guitar with shiny read hardware instead of chrome of gold. that would be killer!!! you could even get the logo in red to match your hardware. or that white soloist with shiny purple hardware! that would be so cool. why hasn't this happened yet!?
i want it to happen! if you want it to happen please speak up! we must let the industry know that this is what we want! there is not much more that you can do with guitar graphics that hasn't already been done. this is the next step in electric instrument asthetics! lets make it happen.
