  • Neck swap on Jackson AT1?

I have a 96 AT1 I traded a guy for. It's an archtop mahogany body. I put Mojotone Classics A2's in it. And it sounds really good. My problem is the neck. It's just too flat for me. I was going to sell the guitar and build a Warmoth. But then I fingered I have a hand made USA guitar here. Why not have Warmoth make me my dream neck? I'm assuming it's a Fender heel.

well if your dream neck fits into warmoths limit selection, go for it. I have a reverse strat head neck they built for me, it's alright. I can't really recommend them personally, but if you see something you like, go for it. Just wait until someone confirms it'll fit a jackson, i don't think mine would, can't remember the issue, but I put it on a kelly and a rr3 just to mess around and it didn't fit in the pockets.
In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

The Jackson heels are wider than Fender.

        As well, if that's a 24 fretter, Warmoth's idea of 24 frets is a 3" fretboard extension on a 22 fret neck.

However, a Warmoth Baritone Conversion neck should fit, as the heel is wide enough. Just get it undrilled.
