  • Does anyone know anything about these?

I have a Charvel/Traditional and it's like a transparent wine red with a natural back and neck.
The hardware is gold and the bridge is a Floyd Rose. I was told that there were only 40-60 of this exact kind made but I can't find anything on the Jackson/Charvel website.

Is that from the USA San Dimas "Reissue" series? If so, the Traditional models were not equipped with Floyds. Could it instead be a Japanese import from the new era Charvels? Post some pics...

      I don't think it's Japanese.
The traditional on the link below is basically it, but mine has gold hardware.

I just took pictures last week and will try to get them up by tomorrow.

      Thanks.

The gold hardware makes it sound like the reissue, definitely post pix when you get them so we can be more positive.

Does the logo on the headstock say "made in USA"? If so, then it's a mid-90s reissue. Otherwise, it's most likely one of the newer imports.

The head stock does say "Made in USA" under the Charvel logo.

Yep, I think they were made around '95, '96. Not really "reissues", but they were made about 10 years after the original San Dimas. Does yours have 24 frets and body binding? If so, it should be known as the San Dimas IV. It should have gold hardware and DiMarzio pickups (I believe it should have a Tone Zone bridge pup, Fast Track 1 middle, and The Chopper for the neck). And the headstock color should match the body. I think those had Pau Ferro fingerboards, too.

Wow. You hit it right on the money.
Any idea what there worth? It's in mint condition.
I plan on getting the pictures up by tomorrow.
