He used a V in Bruce's band in the late '90s.

Murray there behind, I think it's an Iron Maiden gig....seems a more recent photo than the '90s

I'm almost certain that Jackson King V is his "drop D" guitar he played with Bruce (as toejam said). If he did play it with Maiden, it was probably when he returned to Maiden and adapted certain Maiden songs to be played with drop D. If you watch the below video starting around the 6:40 mark, he plays Wrathchild and The Number of the Beast with a drop D twist, and at 16:20 he plays Run to the Hills in drop D. I don't think he stuck very long with this method of playing these songs, because even from Brave New World onwards, he's back to playing standard-tuned guitars.

He used the KV2 on that first tour back with Maiden - Metal 2000 or something? I thought he still used drop D guitars, but not for every song.
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

I think the first tour back with Maiden was The Ed Hunter Tour. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ed_Hunter_Tour

Actually I take my previous post back. If you listen to Adrian's isolated guitar track on Rock in Rio (linked below), you can hear him play in drop D on Wrathchild (17:50), The Number of the Beast (1:33:40), and Run to the Hills (1:52:40). Maybe more, but I didn't bother to listen to the whole thing.

I've never, EVER seen him with a King V! That is either a new development or very rare if from years ago.

The KV2 is from years ago, before Bruce and Adrian rejoined Maiden. Here's a video of him using the KV2 in drop D tuning.

He's also shown holding the V in the '99 catalog, I believe.

Black Jackson Strathead Strat with one humbucker and a chrome Floyd. In the Wasted Years video, he plays a black Charvel Strathead Strat that is otherwise identical, save for the headstock logo. Perhaps it's the same body, but he swapped the Charvel neck with a Jackson one? Or possibly replaced the Charvel logo with a Jackson one? First photo below is the mystery Jackson, second photo below is the Wasted Years Charvel.

Other than having 1 HB only, this guitar is basically a clone of mine. Cool.

So could you Custom Select order a neck-thru Strat (not a soloist)? I'd be in on that buy! White for sure. H-S, non-recessed Floyd. It has to be a pointy with gold hand-script logo though. I'm not picky.
