No problem! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
I'll ask - how on earth did you convince Jackson to approve and actually do all this? Incriminating pictures of someone in the CS?

After receiving NOs on various orders through the standard chain, I got to thinking... Fender is a large corporation and that I could find a different way to get approval. I contacted a different department, showed them exemplars, told them what I wanted to build and showed them pictures of my 89 Strathead, and said ESP would make what I wanted for $8k and Jackson kept denying me, explained how I'm just a big fan and wanted something specific. I then got an email from Jackson saying I had a pre-approved open order for anything I wanted.

I originally just wanted a bolt on like the Phil Splatter without the splatter to compliment my old strathead, but figured since I had an open order, I'd get a few firsts. Neck-thru Strathead, neck-thru Dinky (because everyone used to like to say "if it's a neck thru it's a soloist") and a Jackson branded strathead that wasn't a Phil or Adrian sig model (any previous Jackson strathead could only be a slight deviation from an Artist Sig). The nice thing looking back, I could have ordered a Firebird or Roundhorn, or whatever I wanted... I decided to just build the guitar the way I wanted it without taking too much advantage of it. There's nothing I'm really unhappy with. I got what I wanted.

The nice by-product is that Fender loosened their stance on Jackson logo'd stratheads... a few people got neckthru Stratheads before they decided to shut that door, but you can still order a Custom Select Jackson Strathead, and I've enjoyed seeing what other people have created.

And yes, it is the first neck-thru Strathead Jackson has ever produced after decades of "LOL NO". Phil got the 2nd and 3rd. Another artist who I can't remember got one. And the limited Phil DX models are out there. But Kurt told me they didn't really want to do them anymore and are refusing them.

I took a new photo of the headstock to get all the abalone color and got a pretty decent shot:
