Is the JE-0005 5-way switch anything special?

I just bought a Charvel Fusion Plus and a previous owner swapped out the stock pups and switch for a set of active Reflex pups and a 3-way switch. I would like to restore it to stock. Is the JE-0005 switch just a standard 5-way switch or does it have special features?

it's a megaswitch. They wired it up for coil split options on positions 2 & 4

IIRC, the 5 positions on the Fusion Plus were:
* bridge
* inside coils of both
* both buckers
* outside coils of both
* neck

Is there an equivalent aftermarket option or do I need to find an original?

Also, would the JE-0006 be similar/compatible?

Do you want it to have those options that VitaminG said. If not, a regular switch would work. Also you could install push/pull pot to split the coils.
