What do we have here?

Just bought this and wondering what the markings all mean. I think the neck and body might be mismatched. Looking for manufacture date and location and what the markings mean. Thanks!

I see nudding. No pics.

96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.
