  • Help Identifying a Jackson

    Hello!

My brother in law is selling a few of his guitars, and one of them is a Jackson Warrior. I can't tell what kind, though, besides what I believe to be made in Japan version.

7 digit serial number starting with 97. The "Made id Japan" sticker appears to be removed.

I am looking to see if anyone can tell me what exactly the model is... XT, JS, etc... I'm trying to figure out a fair price to offer it to him. He said he wants 300. It's missing the trem bar and nut locks. I asked him if it was blocked and he didn't know (or know how to check... haha). Someone didn't like to fiddle with a FR I guess.

    Here are some pictures:

    Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum. That's a Warrior XT. I'd offer $225 to $250 for it without the trem bar and lock nut pads and screws.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Tell him $250 if he shines it up and polishes the frets/$300 without the cleanup, but the bar and nuts replaced.

      That'd be a circa '03-'07 serial.
      96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.
