1991 Limited Edition Jackson Professional - valuation ideas?

Hi all,

I picked up this guitar back in 1997 and they do turn up from time to time however with only 200 made they are rare/infrequent sales. One here https://reverb.com/au/item/2508664-v...imited-edition

Any thoughts on value (noting condition will be a factor) or how to get valued? May be quite a specific market too - ie are they actually collectible?

Any early (1990-1995) Jackson Professional Pro guitar is already desirable because of its virtually identical build quality to the USA Jacksons, and the Soloist Archtop Pros are certainly no exception. Given the ultra premium features of the Archtop Limited '91 (this is the only production Jackson I ever recall having a Brazilian rosewood fretboard) and their limited numbers, I would expect them to command a premium over the price of "normal" Professional Pros.

Either way, aside from a one in a million chance, I'd surmise from my experience if you could get $1500 USD (2100AUD) for a mint model you'd be doing great.

The PRO models from '90-'95 occasionally get those kinda' $$$$, but it sure isn't common.

Yes. According to Henrik's Audiozone site (https://web.archive.org/web/20180831...ofessional.php) the Limited '91 had a price of $2450. Nearly $1000 more expensive than the next-priciest Soloist ATT Pro and Soloist Professional Pro!

I bought mine about 10 years ago for 1000 euros. The guy i bought it from got it for 800 euros.

I wish the trem wasn't recessed... It's not a huge deal but I definitely prefer the non recessed trem of the 750xl.
