Trying to find a good deal on a chainsaw case for my Charvel model 2. I know this isnt what it would have came with. Something about the guitar shape in this picture seems a little off to me, can anyone shed some light on this case? THanks

That case likely fits toothpaste-logo Charvel guitars, the series of guitars that succeeded the 1986-89 Model Series. The bolt-on guitars (275, 375, 475) were no longer full-sized Strat bodies like the Model 1/2/3/4, so your Model 2 likely won't fit in it. They had "22 fret Dinky" bodies, which are a bit smaller than full-sized Strat bodies.
The correct chainsaw case you want has the Charvel guitar-shaped logo on its exterior (not the toothpaste logo on the case seen in the Reverb ad you linked). I've been on the lookout for an inexpensive, period-correct chainsaw case for my Model 1C, hopefully within driving distance. Get in line!
