• an other ID research

Hi
I'd like to know which model is the one I own... here is the picture :

it has two single picks and one humbucker, a floyd, a 5 positions switch, a volmue controller and two tones controller.

the serial is 333209, it was made in japan, I don't know the manufacturing date.

I saw that you are real specialists.

Thank you in advance.

Bound fretboard? Looks like a 475.

Yup, model 475. Very nice guitar bro!
I can tell you it's definitely a 1990 model.
The way you can tell this is add up the sum of all the digits in the serial # which will tell you the century in which it was built, 3+3+3+2+0+9=20.....ok?
Now take that amount (20) and subtract 1. 20-1=19 right?....ok, now add the sum of the first three digits 3+3+3=9, and that gives you the decade in which it was built, so now you know it's 199 something right?....ok, now add the 5th digit of the serial # on the end (0) and you know exactly what year it was built. So yours is a 1990. Cool huh! I'll bet not many JCFers know this formula.

an other little question : what are the differences between the 475 deluxe, special and the classic 475?

I like my guitar bro and it's a pleasure to see the effect it makes on people...

last : what is the price of my guitar?

thank you!

Re: an other ID research

There were two 475 Models... the 475DLX (deluxe) or the 475DLX-Exotic. Only difference, the Exotic had a flame maple top.

I think it was a joke

my serial is 333209, so the formula is good(...)

take a look at this serial I found on the gallery : 363541 (also a 1990 475).

3+6+3+5+4+1=22
21-1 = 21

3+6+3 = 12

the third number is 5.

manufacturing date =21125 ???

So the owner of this guitar came back from future

Great
